Nina Crump, a native Washingtonian, embraces her passion for ministry to touch lives and encourage others through words and actions. Nina is a Christian with a sincere heart for God. She grew up in a Christ-led home and has followed biblical teachings throughout her life. Nina often says, “I just want to be a willing vessel God can use. I say YES to His will and YES to His way.”

 

In 2021, Nina stepped out on faith to elevate NCMinistries, Inc. (NCM) as a Christian-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, expanding a vision that began in 2009 with The Women of Faith (TWOF)—a sisterhood gathering created to encourage and support women. Through heartfelt community connections
and experiences within TWOF, Nina recognized the need for spaces where women feel seen,

supported, and empowered. Many women across the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area were navigating life’s challenges without dedicated support systems, often leaving them discouraged and
uncertain about their purpose. Today, Nina leads NCM in equipping purpose-driven women of all ages through programs, events and initiatives that strengthen their spiritual gifts, talents, and skills, helping them rediscover their strength and move forward with confidence and hope.
 

These highly regarded events include the Exhale Retreat and the Life Support Conference, along with Sister Circle Saturdays, a spin-off initiative of the Life Support experience. Each year, NCM partners with the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign to collect toys for children in need. NCM’s I Am Hannah enrichment program provides a safe and supportive space where women can express their innermost feelings, break down walls of despair, and begin rebuilding their lives on a healthier foundation.

Nina is widely known for her melodic voice---on and off stage. Her vocal ability has allowed her to share platforms with major recording artists. Nina has written and arranged gospel songs for books and plays, ministered in song at major events and conferences, interviewed on Internet and radio programs, and performed on cruise ships. She has toured nationally and internationally. 

However, Nina is not just a singer, songwriter, and actress, but a WORSHIPPER of God and a SERVANT LEADER. A giver at heart, Nina's regular community activities have included ministering and performing at nursing and rehabilitation facilities, preparing meals at the Ronald McDonald House, preparing and distributing care packages to the homeless, as well as supporting others in fulfilling their calling.

In April 2025, Nina was recognized for her extraordinary commitment to service, having dedicated more than 4,000 documented hours of lifelong volunteer work in the United States. In recognition of this achievement, she received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the Kingdom Global Alliance Network.

Nina was selected as one of the Top 10 Influential Women to Watch by K.I.S.H. Magazine. As part of this recognition, she was featured on the magazine’s digital billboards in Times Square, New York City, on March 14, 2026.

 

Although Nina serves the community with passion and dedication, she stands firm that ministry for her starts and ends at home. Nina has been happily married to her husband, Carl, for 42 years. Together, they are proud parents to four adult children and have five amazing grandchildren. Nina takes her responsibility as ‘ROLE MODEL,’ very seriously. She says, "It is imperative that my family sees Christ operating in me. Lifestyle evangelism is real.”
