The Essence of Love

Jocelyn McClure has been a Realtor® in the Washington, DC area since 1992. She’s a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of the Art’s class of 1978 and attended the Catholic University of America on a vocal music scholarship. Her involvement with Ellington has spanned decades;  from attending as a student, to becoming the inaugural president of the formally recognized DESA Alumni Association which she helped found in 2005. She is currently serving in cop-leadership capacity for the DESA Alumni Association.  In March of 1984, Jocelyn gave her life to the Lord. She has grown through the years to have an ever-increasing passion for helping people come to points of breakthrough along this life’s difficult journey. She is a motivational, inspirational speaker and an international bestselling published author who’s focused on empowerment, encouragement, positivity, self-improvement, mindset and personal development. She’s also a breast cancer survivor who coaches and encourages many women as they wage war against that sworn enemy.  Jocelyn is a mentor to many and recently, after aligning with world renown speaker Les Brown, she embarked on the journey of public speaking in an intentional way. Personally mentored by Les Brown, a featured speaker on the 2021 HTS, “Dare to Dream” Summit, and the 2022 Hungry for Greatness, “Transformer’s: What’s IN Your Mind” Summit”, she is dedicated to the development and maintenance of good mental health through what she likes to call Compassionate Truth Telling.
