About the Event
Dr. Janet Callwood-Jackson is a native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, Asian Division. She continued her education at Bowie State University, Bowie, Maryland where she received her Masters of Art Degree in Counseling Psychology. She later earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Virginia. Dr. Callwood-Jackson served her country with distinction as a veteran of the United States Air Force. Dr. Callwood-Jackson is a license Psychologist and owner of JCallwoodAssociates. She is license to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Yvette J. Wright is a nurse supervisor for the Arlington County Health Department, Community Health Services Bureau, Arlington, Virginia. She has 28 years of nursing experience as a registered nurse, 22 of which are in a managerial capacity Yvette currently manages the County’s Immunization Clinic, COVID-19 Vaccine Management Team, Medical Case Management and Lead Programs. Her previous work experience includes working with females from age 13 to 50 covering the entire spectrum of health and wellness to include maternity and family planning services.
Yvette is a member of the Antioch Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and also a Life Member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Yvette is the proud mother of three wonderful sons, a very special daughter-in-law and three fantastic grandsons. Her hobbies include reading and spending time with family.
