Nicole Learner is a young professional currently working in the fraud field. Her positive relationship with finance started in her teenage years when she learned that saving for future investments was much more valuable than immediately spending her money on things that provided momentary satisfaction. During her college years, she lost sight of that revelation and did not start building a positive relationship with finance again until her late 20s. With a minimum wage job and a "paycheck to paycheck," lifestyle Nicole knew that she had to get back on track. Not only for the sake of having money but to prove to herself she could be committed to obtaining and maintaining the resources that she needed to live her life. While working her minimum wage job, she began investing a few dollars every month into the stock market and her future home savings. This motivated her to obtain more income as she went out to obtain a higher-paying job that doubled what she made before. Nicole is not a financial advisor or finance guru, but she does enjoy sharing some of her budgeting and investing tips with family and friends whenever she can. Her overall financial goal is to get to a point where she can look at money purely as a resource that supports her and the people in her community.
