Dr. Sabrie R. Wiggins-Rose is the CEO and Lead Clinician at Birdie's Nest: Therapeutic and Consulting Services, LLC, and Adjunct Instructor at Bowie State University. She earned her B.S. in psychology from Bowie State University as well as her M.A. in mental health counseling. Dr. Wiggins-Rose earned her Ph.D. in counseling education and supervision from Waynesburg University.

She began working in the Mental Health field in 2008. Her clinical experience includes working with vast populations to include Adolescents, Teens, Young Adults, Adults, and Older Adults treating areas around substance abuse, trauma, juvenile delinquency, and criminal justice. She also has extensive experience in case management, individual counseling, group counseling, and psychoeducation. Her specialty areas include trauma, child sexual abuse, and survivors of child sexual abuse.

Dr. Wiggins-Rose also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Bowie State University. She had more than six years teaching at the collegiate level. Classes taught include Intro to Psychology, Multicultural Counseling,  Social Psychology, and Child and Adolescent Psychology.

In addition to Dr. Wiggins-Rose’s professional title she holds title of wife, mother, daughter, and so many others as family is her top priority.
