Wanda S. Briscoe is from Maryland and she is the mother of 3 adult sons (2 living and 1 deceased), a grandmother to three granddaughters, and she is a dog mom. Wanda was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2011, and she was the first person in her family to be diagnosed with this life-threatening disease. Wanda did not see breast cancer as a death sentence, but she saw it as a life sentence. Wanda speaks on various platforms educating the community and churches on breast cancer.

Literacy To date, Wanda has written 10 books (5 that she authored, and 5 that she co-authored). Wanda wrote her first book in 2012, called “The Fight Within”.
