About the Event

Wanda S. Briscoe is from Maryland and she is the mother of 3 adult sons (2 living and 1 deceased), a grandmother to three granddaughters, and she is a dog mom. Wanda was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2011, and she was the first person in her family to be diagnosed with this life-threatening disease. Wanda did not see breast cancer as a death sentence, but she saw it as a life sentence. Wanda speaks on various platforms educating the community and churches on breast cancer.

Literacy To date, Wanda has written 10 books (5 that she authored, and 5 that she co-authored). Wanda wrote her first book in 2012, called “The Fight Within”. In 2014, Wanda co-wrote a book called “The Art of Activation.” Wanda released another book in May 2019, entitled “The Storm Has A Ministry Too” and this book was turned into a stage play on October 10, 2020, in Waldorf, MD. Wanda was a co-author of a book called Mary Up: Making Art Recycling Your Used Products, which was released in 2019. Wanda was a co-author of a book entitled “Inspired By Love” which was released in February 2021. Wanda was a co- author of The Tears Of A Lonely Mother that was released in 2021. Wanda was a co-author of “Birthing The Dreamer in You” that was released in September 2021. Wanda released 3 journals, entitled, The Tears of Hannah (2022), Dear Loved One, Things that I Want To Tell You: A 365 Grief and Loss Journal (2022), and Your Yes Is Non-Negotiable (2023), and all of these journals became Amazon Best Sellers in multiple categories.

Kingdom Platforms and Awards Wanda has had the opportunity to grace the cover of three magazines, Southern Maryland Women (2014 & 2021) and Gospel 4U (2015), for her breast cancer awareness.  Wanda has received special recognition letters from the former First Lady Michelle Obama, and Bishop T.D Jakes for her book “The Fight Within.”  In September 2023, Wanda was recognized by K.I.S.H. Magazine as one of the Top 12 Nation Changes on the Rise Spotlight. In October 2023, Wanda was featured on the K.I.S.H. Magazine Billboard as the Top 9 International Movers & Shakers, and this billboard was featured in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. On April 21, 2024, Wanda received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, in Dallas, Texas which is the highest honor on Earth from President Joe Biden.

Advocacy

Wanda is a member of the Sisters at Heart Breast Cancer Support Group of Southern Maryland, and a member of the Pink-Bold-Beautiful breast cancer groups in Maryland. Wanda is active in both groups, and continues to offer education, inspiration, prayer, and mentorship. On December 3, 2018, Wanda’s youngest son (Darryl) was murdered in Atlanta, GA, at the age of 22.  Due to this tragedy, Wanda became active in the National organization, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, which consists of over 10 million volunteers across the nation.  Wanda uses her story to educate others on gun violence, the impact that it has in our communities, and she shares her story with others to inspire others that the pain had a purpose.

Business Wanda is the founder of Warrior Media Productions and Wanda Briscoe Ministries. Warrior Media Productions produces content to improve the spiritual, mental, emotional well-being to the world through the arts, via conferences, books, plays, and future movies. Under Wanda Briscoe Ministries, Wanda provides Grief and Loss Counseling as she is a certified Grief & Loss Counselor by the National Association of Christian Counselors. Various churches from across the nation, refer their leaders, family, and friends to Wanda for grief counseling. Wanda wrote Standard Operating Procedures in the area of Bereavement, and she trains pastors on how to start bereavement ministries in their churches. As a certified Forgiveness Coach, Wanda provides forgiveness coaching, and people contact Wanda through her website, or by referrals to pray for them and provide training in this area.

Media

In September 2019, Wanda debuted her weekly show on WBGR Gospel Network entitled “Wanda’s Warriors Show.” In early in 2023, the Wanda’s Warriors Show debuted on Zenith TV Network, and the show was also on various podcast platforms (Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer). God opened the door for the Wanda’s Warriors Show to be heard in Belgium, United States, France, Russia, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Sierra Leone, and Germany. Wanda has hosted over 80 shows on the various platforms, as the host of Wanda’s Warriors.

Ministry Wanda was ordained as an Evangelist on July 4, 2021, at Restoration Free Gospel Church in Lexington Park, MD. Wanda is a member of the Kingdom Global Alliance Network (KGAN) under the leadership of Apostles Alton & Niccay Natson. Wanda is the Associate Pastor over the Pastoral Care & Counseling Division for KGAN. Wanda is transparent with the traumas and tragedies in her life, and the audience relates to her compassion, authenticity, and her conquering spirit that God has instilled in her. Wanda is a sought-after global speaker, global influencer, a mentor, a counselor, and she loves uplifting others by sharing her stories of triumph. Wanda has spoken in Paris, France in October 2022, and in London, United Kingdom in June 2023.  Wanda is looking forward to traveling more and spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
