About the Event
Dr. Anna Milner-Stroman is a Washingtonian and the 7th child of eight, with five brothers and two sisters. She is the mother of two sons, Harold L. Turley, II, and Jerome D. West, one daughter, Ashante K.N. West-James, 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Marietta College in Marietta Ohio, a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology from Bowie College, Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Divinity Degrees from Maple Springs Bible College and Seminary majoring in Christian Counseling.
Dr. Milner-Stroman is CEO of ICan Counseling Service and provides counseling to ages 13 to adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, fear, peer pressure, abuse, and molestation. Counseling is provided both virtually and in person.
As an Apostle at RHEMA International Ministry where she also received her Ordination into the Office of Prophet under the Apostleship of Timothy and Kimberly Weathers, Dr. Milner-Stroman allows Yahshua Hamashiach (Jesus) and Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) to lead her in all of YHWH’s assignments.
She is a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Healthcare Chaplains Ministry Association (HCMA) in California and performs Chaplain responsibilities at various hospitals in the DMV area.
As a Chaplain she has acquired the skills and experience of operating in a theology of spiritual care that is integrated with a theory of pastoral practice. She has many favorite scriptures, two of which are Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope;” and Proverbs 23:7 “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…..”
