Pastor Tammy Carter is founder and Senior Pastor of Tabernacle of Power Worship Center in Montross, Virginia.  A Pastor, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher, conference speaker, mentor, and author; Pastor Tammy Carter accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in June of 1989 in an FBI Lunchroom.  She is a native of Westmoreland County, Virginia, where she was born and raised until her move to Maryland in 1991.

Pastor Tammy accepted the call to ministry in the year 1999 and relocated back to Westmoreland County.  She attended Alpha Bible College in Champlain, Virginia.  She was licensed and ordained into ministry under the tutelage of Bishop Donn R. Hall at Zion Baptist Church, Tucker Hill, Virginia.  Under the covering of Bishop Donn Hall, she learned discipline, humility and obedience in ministry.  An effective communicator of God's Word.  Prophetess Tammy is widely known for her practical and dynamic teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives.

Tammy is the wife of Earl Carter, Jr. the biological mother of 5 children and bonus mother of 4 more.  She is a grandmother, godmother and just plain ole "MA" to countless others.

She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Non-profit organization.  The Generation That Will Outreach Services (TGTWO-OS).  Under this foundation there is community outreach, mentoring of young men and women, social services, and food pantry.

Pastor Tammy and her husband, Earl together founded The Tabernacle of Power Worship Center (the TOP), A ministry serving God and His people through love.  Teaching and preparing souls for discipleship and Jesus' return.

She is the founder and visionary of Tammy Carter's Ministries where she has hosted several conferences, launched a publishing company and now has authored her first book entitled, "It's Not Your Fault."  She has developed a passion for writing and now is in the process of finishing another.
