About the Event
Dr. Lowanda Avens Studevent is a Project Leader and Systems Test Engineer at The MITRE
Corporation, where she conducts systems testing for applications across various United States
government agencies most notably the Veterans Administration’s Post 9/11 GI Bill and the
Center Medicaid and Medicare Services’ Affordable Care Act where she earned many awards.
Dr. Studevent holds a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Virginia State University
(1984), a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Security Management from
